Privacy Policy

Last updated 4 November 2026

Staff of Shamgar collects no personal data. It has no accounts, no sign-up, no advertising and no analytics. It never asks for your name, email address or location, and it does not read your contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera.

The current version of the game does not send anything over the internet at all.

What stays on your phone

Your characters, the folder of the ones who died, your settings and the run in progress are saved on your device so you can pick up where you left off. They are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes all of it.

What the stores collect

The App Store and Google Play handle downloads and updates, and they keep their own records of that under Apple's and Google's privacy policies. If you have turned on crash or usage sharing in your phone's settings, Apple or Google may share anonymous crash reports with the developer. The game itself adds nothing to that.

If this changes

Later versions may add anonymous gameplay data to help balance the game, crash reporting, in-app purchases or advertising. Before any version that does ships, this page will be rewritten to say exactly what is sent, where it goes and how to have it deleted, and the date at the top will change.

Children

Staff of Shamgar is not directed at children under 13, and the developer does not knowingly collect data from anyone, of any age.

Deleting your data

There is nothing held anywhere but your own device, so there is nothing for us to delete. Uninstalling the game removes everything it saved. If you have a question about this, write anyway.
